Every little thing was enjoyed then!!
Dear Sonu
U seems to have forgotten yourself.
I wonder where that sonu has gone
who would stop and look at herself.
Who would say hello to books
Whose room would be decorated with new novels every month
Who would sit in peace and sip the tea.
Who would feel the movement of trees.
Who would look at the sky calmly and build up a story.
Who would be available for her friends.
Who would love spending time with Tom.
Who would read and write a lot.
Who was on a journey to explore herself.
Who would never miss the sunset or sunrise moments.
Who would silence every one just to listen chirping of birds.
Who would capture the birds...flowers...what not ..come back yar
I seriously miss that sonu ... ,look at herself.
What you have become .
I don't want see this version of sonu
I want that same ...sonu who would laugh her heart out.
Who had the aura of making environment positive with her laugh and of course her comments.
Who had the wishlist to complete.
Please come back !!
Missing you badly!!
We become so busy in our work that we forget ourself.
Somewhere in our life, we all have left ourselves as Sonu. The truth of life is well explained. Sometimes I also feel like this.
ReplyDeleteSo nice... really heart touching... just give time to ur hobby
ReplyDeleteI often go through the similar feelings where I miss my old self & I question myself why & how did I change so much. In the act of becoming an adult we should never lose the happy content child in us.
ReplyDeleteWell articulated! As we grow, sometimes life makes us leave our true selves behind. In middle age I started going back to things I loved and that really makes me feel so good.
ReplyDeleteYes we need to keep on reconnecting with ourselves in this busy life. I can relate to what u have expressed out via this poetry. Amazing
ReplyDeleteBeautifully penned.. Yes in this chaos we do forget our real self and like you did we need this kind of reminder every now and then.
ReplyDeleteAgree, totally, Sonu. We have to keep reminding ourselves and take out me time. We just cannot let go of our real selves and become robots going with the flow.
ReplyDeleteThis is the reality with almost all of us. Over a period of time we have become a person who wasn't the one before where our inner self fails to recognise us.
ReplyDeleteThe poetic letter somehow touched a pain chord in my heart and I can see myself in Sonu .... I am trtying hard for my me time lets see when I succeed finally
ReplyDeleteMore than a wishlist, our health has taken a toll due to the responsibility burden we take upon ourselves (mandatory as well as non mandatory). Your post is a good reminder for us to sit, relax and pondor on how we can become better versions of ourselves.
ReplyDeleteso true... in this rigmarole of life, we loose ourselves so much that at times we ourselves don't know who we have become and what we have left in the past.
