New year 2024 !

As soon as I woke up phone was buzzing with WhatsApp messages..."Happy New Year"

"Welcome 2024"

"Jay shree Ram Happy New year".....and so many other lines....

If you look around every one ...every member of the house will be glued to their respective phones.

They are busy in wishing back and forwarding to their friends and others.

I was not aloof of it ...I was one of them ... suddenly I realised...

How an ideal new year celebration should be ??

Is this going out and partying with your friends?

Leaving parents ..who don't come from cool gen Z ...or who loves to party ??

All these questions were going on in my mind.

I was lost in a thought what will be the ideal way of celebration?

Can we keep calm at home ... sitting, relaxing, watching a movie with our family... throwing out phones aside to which we are so glued that we forget who is around us and all.

Aren't we so addicted to our phone ? Or we not so controlled by this device that we tend to forget or don't like our offline relationships...become dedicated to virtual relationship.

Sending virtual hugs and kisses instead of sitting calmly with family and loved ones ... rewinding our past year ... cherishing lessons and gifts of the going year.

Spending time with our family can be most valued... happiest kind of new year celebration 🎊

Have you ever taken Langar ?

Last Sunday we were on a famous mission ...on which most of us are now a days ..."Diwali ki Safai" and as soon as I was done preparing lunch ..our gas cylinder was over ..I was glad lunch was prepared for both of us.

Husband was given the task to clean the kitchen.. washing floor n all...n I was doing room n clothes..

We were very tired and thought of Zomato for dinner.

But suddenly while taking bath he got an idea why not visit Bangla Sahib Gurudwara and have dinner in Cannaught place.

From a very long time it was on our bucket list..to visit Bangla Sahib Ji gurudwara.

We got ready and went there ..we both felt peaceful ...from within..sat for half an hour near kund.

We just had a discussion about langar ..what a great act by community.

Who and when langar was started n all was going on in our discussion.

Then we thought why not us experience this langar..in Bangla Sahib.

We went for it ...

Seriously..I was overwhelmed seeing people serving .. cleaning plated ..serving food.

On that day in langar ..we had the chance to taste the yummy kheer,Dal and roti.

I never liked kheer ...and black dal ..I don't know it's another name ..which my husband got at home but on never liked it.

But,on that day I felt it to be very tasty.

It gave the feeling which we might not have got in any restaurant.

Seriously,When you have langar you feel blessed and feel different kind of vibration..blessings.

Felt Grateful!!

This was my first experience of langar.

Inspite of visiting Gurudwara in Hyderabad and Jaipur ..I never had the opportunity of having langar.

Though we got our gas cylinder the very next morning but that feeling of langar was overwhelming.

It was an experience of which I was devoid for a very long time.

One must experience it once in their lifetime.

one must be open to learn from different faiths.

And keertan..I don't know what it is called exactly in Punjabi..helps you to be so peaceful.

You feel like keep on listening to them.

Langar ... waheguru ji ka Prasad 🙏

situations!

Sometimes Life puts you in such situations which makes you sure what you want in life .

It makes us to understand what kind of life you want and what kind of life you don't want.

True ...very very true that Time is the biggest teacher..which makes you ti understand what is need to be paid heed to and what not.

Being a women I have seen my mother going through the situation..in which I am today ..but I might not have understood it fully seeing her.

It's true that when we go through or experience the situation then only we can realise .. through what she has gone through.

Still in Indian families. ..bahu(daughter -in-law) is expected to be in the kitchen all the time .. breakfast.. lunch..dinner ...she is not allwoed to let her move her head upward..

Are we meant to be in kitchen all the time ??

Today ..this situation has thought me that I don't want this kind of life at all .. never...ever ...

Taking stand for yourself and setting boundaries is very important..not for society ...but for yourself.

If we don't teach our daughters this quality then they will suffer inside only.  ..

I am proud of myself that I have taken stand whenever it was needed..

And it keeps on reminding yourself to pat yourself than expecting it from others.

Self respect is more n more important than anything...any relationship.

While watching a movie at home ..and we wants to go in between to get a cup of tea for ourselves what do we do ?

We press on the Pause button ..and start it again after our task is done. Why do we do so ?where is the need to press the pause button??

It's just because continuity of the movie should not be disturbed and we can enjoy each n every part of the story.

In the same way ..in life ..do we need to have a pause button?

Did you ever feel to have a pause button/phase in life ?

Pause phase ..when we do nothing..when we take a break from the routine life n give time to ourselves...when we think or plann for the future..or think upon what we want from our life.

Sometimes I feel in this life...which is running like a metro ..at very fast pace..in the blink of an eye .you may find that..you are now in your 40's and you will think upon the last moment you when you celebrated festival with your family without any office/business/ thoughts or work..we all make to be present at the family events..we may be physically present over there but not mentally.. . 

When was the last moment when you visited your native and tried to relinquish your childhood memory?

when was the last moment when you sat quietly and observed the movement of water in a lake or pond?

When was the last moment when you watched sunrise and sunset?

Don't we need a pause button before we start our journey toward 50's/60's/70's ??

I know each and every one has to move forward for new innings of life ...for exploring new opportunities...I never knew that it would be so difficult to leave the place ...an organisation..which have given friends who can be called as prized possession for lifetime.

As I am approaching the d day ..every day it's difficult to control my emotions..I am gonna miss everything..which this place once I never liked to stay ...never knew would be giving such relationships.

A group which is the live example...which shows .. how we can make lemonade when life gives u lemon.

A group which is an example ... showing..when a woman supports another women..then world can be so amazing...life can be so funful. . learning new things together... standing in support of each other .. enjoying every bit of being a women.

A phase which is gonna have an impeccable mark on my heart n even on my sub conscious mind.

You guys are a proof of how life's one decision can be best decision... providing badass ...ladies ... friends for lifetime ❤️ 

I am now n Will always be grateful for this phase of my life...which has provided me crazy.. friends who can make u realise..how any situation can be made funful...lively...learnt many many things ..right now while writing this post ..it's been very very difficult..to type ..tears rolling down.

 I could not control my emotions whom to say how to say so had to write it down.

My life's one of the decision ever ..which provided me u all ... Grateful to God for u all ✨

Friendship Day !!

Started writing after a very long time ...today on the occasion of Friendship day..while looking at everyone's status..I went down the memory lane... thinking about crazily we used to celebrate friendship day's.

Searching for greeting cards ...for friends..and writing only famous lines ..

Getting scoldings from parents because you and your friends wantsvto see first show of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara....Haha..ro rokar permission Lena ...then after watching it .. thinking ki yaar "apan bhi aise hi trip par jayenge jab jobs mil jayegi hum sabko " how crazy we were ..now in different corners of not only India but the world.

From 

Coordinating colour for the dresses...sending back if any of our group member don't abide by the plan.

When I did not wore the colour which was decided..how I was provided with the bike ... borrowed from a mutual's mutual friend from the Electronics group.

To crazily celebrating it by going for brunches...

Tying many many friendship bands ..n them clicking pics.

How time flies ..from greeting card era to now a gif...era of sending friend ship wishes ..in WhatsApp groups which have no Hulchul...from ages !!

Always grateful for great people ...from school to college n till now..

Slowly as you grow up your mother becomes your bestest friend..she know every side of you..mother daughter after a certain age really becomes best friends for lifetime.
