*Chouhan's of saakambhari/spadalaux*

In 551AD,

Vasudev chouhan is known as the founder of Chouhan rule over spadalaux or saambhar and it's nearby areas.

So according to some sources one can say that chouhan dynasty was founded in 551AD.

He is known as the "Adipurush" of Chouhan's.

Bijolia Inscription also shed some light on this fact.

According to this inscription,Sambhar lake in jaipur was constructed by vasudev.

Initially, Chouhan's were the subordinates or saamant's of pratiharas.

Guvak, refused to be under the pratihara ruler Nagbhatta-2 and made himself independent.

Some sources says that Rani Rudrani (wife of Chandra Raj chouhan)used to lit 1000 diyas at Pushkar jheel.
